# Meowdoku

> Meowdoku is a free, browser-based cat logic puzzle in the style of Sudoku and the LinkedIn Queens puzzle. Place one cat in every row, column, and color region of an N×N grid without letting any two cats touch — not even diagonally. It is pure logic with no numbers, no account, and no download.

Meowdoku is an independent site and is not affiliated with any "Meowdoku" mobile app. Every board is generated with a guaranteed single solution that can be reached by logic alone. The game offers endless puzzles in three difficulties (Easy 6×6, Normal 7×7, Hard 8×8) plus a shared daily puzzle that is the same for everyone and resets at midnight UTC.

## Rules (summary)
- Exactly one cat in each row.
- Exactly one cat in each column.
- Exactly one cat in each colored region.
- No two cats may touch — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
- On a 6×6 board there are six cats and most cells stay empty. There are no numbers and no arithmetic.
