How to solve Meowdoku Level 23
Level 23 runs on a 6×6 grid. Because the blue region has only 1 open square, its cat is forced first (row 1, column 4); each placement then clears rows, columns, and neighbors until the amber region is the last to settle. No guessing — every step below is a forced move. (The layout in your app may differ, but the technique is identical.)

Start with the blue region: every other square in it already shares a row or column with a cat placed elsewhere, so its cat lands on row 1, column 4.

Common Level 23 Mistakes to Avoid
The no-touch pinch point
The tightest spot on this board is rows 1 and 2: their cats sit just 2 columns apart (columns 4 and 2). This is exactly where the "no two cats touch, even diagonally" rule is easiest to break — keep one square of clearance on every side.
Save the amber region for the end
With 11 open cells, the amber region looks wide open early on. Don't place there by feel; once the other rows and columns are claimed it collapses to exactly one spot, no guess required.
Don't skip the tightest region
No cat sits in a corner here, so the safest anchor is the blue region — with only 1 open cell (row 1, column 4) it is the most forced square on the board. Players who start in a roomier region tend to stall.

Scan for the most crowded region before placing anything — here that's blue. Its cat can only live at row 1, column 4, which makes it the one move on the board you can't get wrong.
Eliminate, then chain

Finish in the open region
